Past
Shelties and Collies
The
Rainbow Bridge
Just
this side of Heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge
When
an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet
goes to Rainbow Bridge
.
There
are meadows and hills for all our special friends, so that they can run
and play together.
There
is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and
comfortable.
All
the animals who had been ill or old are restored to health and vigour.
Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as
we remember them in ours dreams of days gone by.
The
animals are happy and content, except for one small thing, they miss
someone very special to them who had been left behind.
They
all run and play together but the day comes when one suddenly stops and
looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent, his eager body
begins to quiver and suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying
over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster,
You
have been spotted and when you and your special friend meet, you cling
together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses
rain upon your face, your hands again caress the beloved head and you
look once more into the trusting eyes of your beloved pet, so long gone
from your life but never absent from your heart.
Then
you cross the Rainbow Bridge together.

Our beautiful girl Summer - Fearnach Summer Rose with Shannmie, left us on the 18/06/2018 to go over the bridge. She will be met by the rest of the gang who will be waiting to welcome her. Run free our lovely girl.
On 12/03/2018 we
had to let our old girl Tia (Shannmies Tia Maria), run over the bridge.
What a beautiful girl she was
and at nearly 16 years of age gave us much love and pleasure.
She will now be able to run and jump freely with her pals.
On 05/04/2017 we
said goodbye to our lovely Disney (Shannmies Fire & Ice). After a very
sudden and unexpected illness,
she went to meet her pals at Rainbow Bridge.
We are devastated that she was taken well before her time and will miss
her.
We had to say goodbye to our
little Shrimp. She took a piece of
our hearts when she was taken before her time.
She may have been small in stature but had such a big personality. Run free with
your pals our special little lass,
no doubt you will be showing them who’s boss. We will miss you.
2013 has been such a sad year for
us as, following the loss of our Shelties Jack and Tilly, we had to say goodbye to
our lovely boy Shadow on 09/12/2013
